Agile Meeting Rooms With Smart Glass

Yes. You can incorporate switchable or etched corporate logos directly into the PDLC glass panels. With a switchable logo, specific areas of the film are independently wired or laser-patterned so that the company logo can remain frosted while the rest of the wall switches to clear, or vice versa, creating a striking branded entrance for clients and visitors.

Yes. SGC system transformers operate on low-voltage AC power (48–60 VAC) and integrate easily with standard wall switches, wireless RF remotes, smartphone apps, motion sensors, and automated timers. They also interface directly with corporate Building Management Systems (BMS) and AV control hubs like Lutron, Crestron, Z-Wave, and Zigbee. If paired with an SGC dimmable transformer, meeting organizers can even adjust frost opacity levels gradually between clear and fully frosted.

Choose Smart Film (Retrofit): If your office already has existing, smooth glass walls and doors installed, self-adhesive Smart Film can be applied directly to the existing glass in hours with minimal workplace disruption and at a lower cost.

Choose Smart Glass / Smart Glass SPACES (New Build or Lease Upgrade): For new construction, full office fit-outs, or leased spaces where you want pre-framed, modular partitions with concealed internal wiring and maximum long-term durability, factory-laminated Smart Glass or modular Smart Glass SPACES partitions are the ideal choice.

For executive boardrooms requiring maximum transparency without a green tint, we recommend ClearVision Low-Iron Smart Glass that is made with Smart Glass Country’s Ultra Clear PDLC. Standard clear glass contains iron oxide (~0.10%), which creates a faint green tint. Low-Iron glass reduces iron content to ~0.01%, providing color-neutral, "water-white" transparency (92% VLT) with an industry-leading low haze rating of 2.2% when switched ON.For glass partitions that are adjacent to overhead lighting and have less exposure to natural light, we may recommend our grey tinted smart film for glass to optimize clarity. The schedule includes measurement approval, product preparation, shipping, installer availability and electrical coordination. Applying the film is only one part of the process.

Share your office move-in date or renovation deadline when requesting a quote. Confirm the current production and installation schedule before booking other trades or promising a completion date.

Yes. A powered sample helps you compare the clear and frosted appearances before committing to a full installation. Evaluate it under your office lighting and from the angles people will normally view the partition.

A sample is particularly useful when selecting a clarity grade or presenting the product to a client, facilities team or final decision-maker. Confirm current sample pricing and any order-credit terms with Smart Glass Country.

Use the cleaning instructions for your installed product. Smart Glass has an exposed glass surface, while surface-applied Smart Film needs gentler care. Avoid abrasive tools, excessive moisture and unapproved cleaning products, and keep edge seals in good condition.

Warranty coverage depends on the product and terms supplied with your order. Confirm the selected warranty, installation requirements and registration process before purchase.

Yes. Smart Film can be specified for selected portions of suitable glass, such as a band positioned to obscure seated meeting participants. This can reduce the treated area while leaving other sections permanently clear.

Choose the band height around actual sightlines from corridors and adjoining workspaces. Full-panel coverage is usually the better choice when privacy is needed across a wider range of positions.

Each switchable glass or film panel connects to a compatible transformer through its electrical connection strip, called a busbar. Wiring can often be concealed within framing, channels or adjacent building finishes.

Transformer locations depend on the room layout, accessibility and electrical design. Share your glazing drawings early so the installer can coordinate wiring routes and power connections before finishes are completed.
